The Lyric and Apollo Theaters, built in 1904 and 1920 respectively, were combined (in 1997) to create a single 1,800 seat Broadway musical house. iconoplast was commissioned to remove and restore the historic ornamental plaster features from the former Apollo Theater and reinstall those feature into the newly built Ford Center for the Performing Arts. One of the noteworthy aspects of this job was the requirement to alter the dimensions of the proscenium arch and its flanking arches. iconoplast added eight feet to the width and five feet to the height of the proscenium arch while maintaining the original geometry.
